MPI Georgia connection?  Originally, I got into MPI because I was interested in getting my CMP designation. I joined a study group which was a really great experience both in the educational aspect and making some great industry friends. I appreciate the relationships and connections that MPI Georgia continues to provide.

How did you get into the hospitality industry?  I got into the industry by accident when I was working for Ivan Allen Company, a local office supply and furniture company in Atlanta. I started planning their sales meetings and retreats and found that I really enjoyed it. Who knew at the time where that would take me?

If I wasn’t in the hospitality industry…  I’d probably be relaxing. Seriously, I have no idea what else I would do.

Binder or iPad?  A combination to be honest. I do still like the security and feel of paperwork in hand, but an organized laptop is crucial.

Next vacation destination:  A Mediterranean cruise with my extended family of 17 at the end of the year. Hope I survive…
