Reuben Ayoub

President and Owner

TLC Rents

Member since January 2024

Please help MPI Georgia welcome one of our newest members, Reuben Ayoub, President and Owner of TLC Rents. Reuben Ayoub isn’t just the owner of TLC Rents; he’s the guy who built it into one of Atlanta’s go-to event rental companies. Growing up in a big family with six siblings, four of whom run their own event rental companies in Florida, entrepreneurship and the event business are in Reuben’s DNA. When he took over TLC Rents in 1998, he envisioned turning it into a full-service rental company that Atlanta’s event pros could rely on. Starting with basics like tents, tables, and chairs, he quickly grew the business into something much bigger, offering a full range of items from lounge furniture and props to floral arrangements.

Reuben’s approach to business has always been simple: stay current, be dependable, and invest in quality. He’s always researching trends and adding new items. Next year will be a big one for TLC Rents, as they’re gearing up to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special event in 2025. It’s a chance for Reuben and his team to celebrate past accomplishments, connect with the community, and show some love to the clients who’ve supported them along the way.

A True Partner in Atlanta’s Event Industry…For Reuben, TLC Rents is all about relationships and helping people bring their event visions to life. It’s a team clients trust to deliver quality, creativity, and a bit of magic to every event. TLC Rents continues to be a pillar in Atlanta’s event community, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Behind the Business: Fun Facts About Reuben
Tell me about your family. When Reuben’s not running TLC Rents, he spends time with his husband, Mike Gonzales, who also works with him. Mike keeps him grounded and inspires him to keep growing, both as a person and a business owner.

You walk outside and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do? Reuben knows exactly what he’d do: invest in a new building for TLC Rents and start thinking about semi-retirement. But not before taking a long vacation somewhere amazing—like the Maldives.

What was the best concert you ever attended and why? Madonna concert he went to last year, where she paid tribute to her whole career. For him, it was inspiring and a reminder of what it means to pour your heart into your work and community.
