Nashville CVC adds Jennifer Smith to Southeast Regional Sales Team

(Nashville, Tenn., May 9, 2024) The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (CVC) is pleased to welcome Jennifer Smith to the sales team as Director, Southeast Regional Office. In her role, Smith will serve the southern region leading sales efforts with both new prospects and repeat clients interested in booking Nashville as a convention destination. Smith is based in Atlanta, serving the Southeast market, and will fulfill the role of Brenda Dempsey, who will retire in July after 20 years with the Nashville CVC.

Smith previously worked for the San Diego Tourism Authority and brings with her over 20 years of experience in sales and leadership. Smith is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), where she previously held positions at the Southeast Chapter Committee and Board Member as well as Chapter President in 2015. In addition, Smith is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE), and an active participant of SITE Southeast USA.
