LaVerne Brown

LaVerne Brown, Director of Sales with the Delta Flight Museum, has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She started her career with a variety of hospitality jobs including working with Windjammer Barefoot Cruise Line as a travel agent, and as an instructor for a vocational travel school. LaVerne found her home of 25 years with Delta Air Lines in Global Sales where she managed a variety of revenue segments, including meeting and association sales.

In addition to her obvious love of travel, she also likes cooking, hiking with her husband around the North Georgia Mountains, and also watching basketball, baseball, and football. Another interesting hobby – LaVerne collects antique travel maps from the unique places she visits. What’s LaVerne’s advice to her younger self? “Follow your heart and do the things you like and enjoy. If you do this, work will never be a job; it will always be something you enjoy.”
