Victoria Nail-Taylor, CMP, CGMP
Senior Professional Education Portfolio Manager
Georgia Institute of Technology
Victoria Nail-Taylor, a Senior Portfolio Manager with Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE), will be celebrating her 10-year anniversary in 2018. She joined MPI Georgia shortly after she started with GTPE, because she saw it as a great organization that would help her with the resources needed to obtain her CMP and CGMP designations. She is an active volunteer with the communications committee.
In her role at GTPE she manages a portfolio of over 300 Defense Technology and OSHA courses throughout the US and abroad. Her co-workers would describe her as a hard worker and team player. Victoria started planning meetings and events by chance. As a student at Georgia State University, she started working in the Continuing Education department. When she accepted a full-time role within the department she found her calling and has been working in the meetings industry ever since.
Working in an academic environment in the meetings industry has taught Victoria to never be afraid to ask questions and to always network. One of her favorite lessons: “Don’t let fear keep you from meeting your goals and objectives.” Victoria and her husband Allen love to travel – a globe-trotting couple who have visited Australia, Italy, Spain, Thailand, and several other countries. They are headed to Africa for their next dream vacation.
