Help us extend a warm welcome to Christina Campbell as she joins the MPI Georgia membership. Christina currently serves as a Global Account Executive with ConferenceDirect. Her decision to join MPI Georgia in December 2022 was sparked by a hunger for new partnerships and market education after the pandemic and sought out the MPI community for professional connections.

Christina’s work in the meeting industry started as a Sales Coordinator at a hotel. The experience stood out to her because it was less about actual selling and more about gaining knowledge of the industry and learning the value of relationships. With ConferenceDirect, Christina utilizes her passion for partnerships as well as her expertise in event sourcing and contracting. She focuses on mitigating her customers' contracting risks and liabilities all while ensuring they are being provided the most valuable offer in the market. By focusing on value and risk mitigation on behalf of her customers, she allows those teams and organizations to concentrate on their core objectives of the event. Her current work is centered on recreating programs with customers post-pandemic. “It’s a whole new world!”

This professional is on the go having just attended IMEX in October. Christina would also like to remind everyone to use their PTO; a lesson learned. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim; 9-year-old daughter, Savannah; 7-year-old daughter, Teagan; and 1-year-old golden retriever, George. And Christina would leave you with the advice to “be present in everything you do.” “We all have a lot going on; however, [we need to be] embracing the moment and focusing on the experience taking place.”
