Join MPI CRV for a unique networking program - a walking tour of Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, CT. Director of the Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation, Beverly Lucas, will guide us on the “When Disaster Strikes” tour. 

Learn about local and national disasters through the eyes of Cedar Hill residents on this tour of the historic cemetery. Stories include the Titanic sinking, 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, Fales & Gray Explosion (1854), Norwalk Train Wreck (1853), 1911 Heat Wave, Hartford Circus Fire (1944), and the 1938 Hurricane.

4:00 - 4:30 PM - Registration
4:30 PM - Walking Tour Begins*

Rain Date: In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be set for October 12th.  A decision will be made around noon on the 11th if it looks like the weather may be bad.

*Walking Tour will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, please make sure to arrive early.
