A guest at an event notices everything – truly everything. In this session, we will walk through an event experience from a guest’s perspective using all five senses: sight, smell, touch, taste and sound. We will review what makes the day, what breaks the day and what takes it above and beyond – truly making it a day to remember.
Meet Our Speaker
Erin Corriveau
Erin is native to Western MA. Graduating high school in 1994, she was unable to go to college right away and ended up in the corporate world of insurance and others. It wasn’t until her job in Government and Community Relations with Baystate Health that she got her first taste of the event industry. Having coordinated many external community events as well as internal events including hosting foreign diplomats and medical professionals, she was bit by the planning bug. She soon left Baystate Health and became the Director of the West of the River Chamber of Commerce for Agawam and West Springfield, MA. This led to more community initiatives and chamber led events, including one of the first sold out/standing room only breakfasts featuring an out of town speaker representing the Disney company. Eventually her path led to her to Lattitude Restaurant/Longitude Events where she became the Event Sales and Catering Manager, eventually moving into her current position: Director of Sales and Catering. With over 250 weddings under her belt in addition to week-long offsite event coordination and execution for organizations, galas and more, she has found her calling and hasn’t looked back. Living locally with her better half, her two teenage sons and four fur babies, she enjoys the arts, yoga, getting lost in Netflix (when there’s time), creating a list of DIY projects she usually doesn’t get to and cooking.
