Chapter Champion

2023 Award Recipient: 
MPI Atlantic Canada Chapter

In 2022, the very first Chapter Champion award was given to MPI Poland. Due to the selfless efforts of the MPI Poland Chapter, over 30 Ukrainian hospitality students impacted by the Russia-Ukraine War received financial support to continue their studies in Poland. The chapter raised funds in their own community and received a matching grant from MPI Foundation. Together, MPI Poland and MPI Foundation ensured that these students retained some continuity and growth despite so much hardship.

The 2023 Chapter Champion Award went to the incredible MPI Italia. Using an amazing destination as a gathering point, MPI Italia created an annual event around the Venice International Film Festival called the Movie Charity Auction.

As a result, over the past 3 years MPI Italia has donated over $17,000 to help our efforts in supporting chapters and individuals across the globe! In 2024, the MPI Foundation applauds the efforts of MPI Atlantic Canada Chapter, naming them our newest Chapter Champion. Since 2018, MPI Atlantic Canada has included support of the MPI Foundation as an integral part of their annual plan. With fewer than 65 members, they have donated over $11,000 through a consistent schedule of member communications, silent auctions, and special events! Thank you, MPI Atlantic Canada!
